A modern day treasure hunt!
 
This is a fun in-house activity that can easily transition into a regular family geocaching outing :)
 
The idea for this scene is to hide the film canister. To find it, kids will need to solve clues given to them by their Elf. 
 
We have provided a set of ready-made clues which lead to the mailbox, but there is also a blank clue page if you would like to create your own hiding place and clues. 
 
Inside the canister is a note with a QR code which is linked to a Geocaching website. Geocaching is a great activity to do as a family, there are lots scattered throughout most communities all over Australia.
