We’re sure everyone has seen Orbeez (water beads), but we don’t think everyone has seen the giant ones!

The scene idea is for your Elf to share some of their magic to trick the adults. Similar to our Sweet Magic scene, parents will need to pretend that they don’t know there is magic involved.

But the reality, as with so many moments in a child’s life, the parents are performing magic behind the scenes.

Your child will grow the normal Orbeez in a glass of water and sprinkle some salt when you’re not watching. But without them knowing, you’ll prepare the large Orbeez and then swap them one night.

Small Orbeez usually take about 8 hours to grow to the size of a pea and will generally stop growing after 12 hours.

Large Orbeez can take several days to grow to full-size. They will go through a few stages, at first appearing like regular Orbeez but then grow into a weird shape before finally returning to a large sphere about 40mm in diameter.
